Deep Roots Ecostead is a community-centered farm just minutes from downtown Damascus, Virginia. We grow medicinal herbs, fresh produce, and create handcrafted herbal products using regenerative farming practices.
Everything we do is rooted in connection: to the land, to traditional plant wisdom, and to the people in our mountain community.

We grow with long-term soil health and sustainability in mind, using perennial systems and thoughtful cultivation practices, rather than tilling.

Many of our herbal products begin right here on the farm — grown, harvested, dried, and handcrafted by us.

Yogev Von Kundra
Yogev farms with a deep respect for the land, community, and traditional agricultural wisdom. Combining regenerative farming practices with a passion for healing and connection, he helps create meaningful experiences through Deep Roots Ecostead’s gardens, herbal offerings, and friendly goat herd.
Megan Boissiere
Certified herbalist and educator.
Megan specializes in herbal body care, flower essences, and medicinal herb production. She has been creating herbal products since 2017 and loves helping others reconnect with plant-based wellness traditions.
